Your question is correct. The cooler uses an independent fan so you can start a new roast while it cools down.

The drum speed was initially applied, but it was excluded because it was a small roaster and there was no need to adjust it. 

Even without adjusting the drum speed, the roasting result is excellent.

It is not clear to me from the website info.  Does the cooler have it's own independent fan (separate from the cyclone/roast vent)? 

Can a new roast be started while the 1st roast is cooling?  

Also, is there an option available for controlling drum speed?
